As a healthcare provider, you can be a great source of support and motivation for patients starting an activity programme.
Keeping physically active is important for initial weight loss as well as for maintaining a healthy weight in the long run. That’s why exercise is an integral part of the Slim•Fast® 3•2•1 plan.
For all patients, we set the long-term goal of 30 – 60 minutes of moderate physical activity every day. It’s vital people aren’t intimidated by this, so establishing realistic, short-term exercise goals is also recommended. This will also help motivate your patients by giving them a sense of accomplishment.
